Industrial Build to Suit

"What's fueling this market and what will the future hold?"

To say that Vancouver's industrial market is hot, and demand for it's product is at an all time high, might be an understatement. This segment of our commercial real estate market has been in supply and demand balance for a least a decade, absorbing land at a brisk pace, while perserving very low vacancy rates, and increasing land values.

Much of the markets demand was fueled by company's having facilities built to their specifications and leased back, however with construction and land price increases, there seems to be a shift in attitude. As well, with the scarcity of zoned serviced property in the Lower Mainland, where will companies locate to remain competitive.

Our panel discussion brings together experts in the industrial market to discuss the changes in our market, attempting to analyze the future from both the supply of land to demand industries that will shape our region's continued prosperity.
