What does NAIOP mean to you?
I've been asked on numerous occasions, "What does NAIOP mean?"
The simple response to this is, well, nothing. NAIOP is a vestigial
acronym - a relic from our early years as a professional
association that we liked to call "The National Association of
Industrial and Office Properties." But as our association has
grown, so too has our scope, our aspirations, and of course our
name.
So what does NAIOP mean to me now? It's a relationship and it's
a family. It's a network of close colleagues and professionals that
are leading the way for commercial development in BC. It's a source
of some of the best information on industry affairs, and also a
forum for some of the brightest thinkers in the region.
This has been an ongoing evolutionary process, and we're excited
to share with you the next iteration of NAIOP Vancouver. This
redesigned online space has been developed with you, our members,
in mind. Gain insights into the state of the industry through our
