For many years Canada's real estate community has been lobbying
the Federal Government to implement capital gains rollover
provisions in the Income Tax Act. The Victoria Real Estate
Board is aware that the real estate profession is only one of a
number of industries in Canada that wish to see these changes
enacted. The goal of this workshop is to generate three to five key
policy positions for use by all stakeholders in encouraging Ottawa
to make the desired legislative changes.
