John is Vice President, Development Strategy and Business Development for Wesgroup Properties, one of Western Canada's largest private real estate and development companies.  He is responsible for leading the development vision, land-use and policy strategy for major developments and facilitating major transactions and partnership opportunities.

John has over 20 years of experience in real estate development, design and project management/construction. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Environmental studies and Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Manitoba and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the UBC Sauder School of Business.

John is a big sports fan, an avid traveler/photographer and has a passion for geneology and history research.
